چکیده
Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) have the potential to monitor health status of several crop fields a farmer in full coverage. For complete and fast monitoring, however, high flight altitudes are usually needed, especially if large areas should be observed short time intervals. In this case, resolution on ground becomes insufficient detect specific symptoms diseases because submillimeter scale is needed. This study pursued idea performing remote UAV imaging discoloration combination with near-surface tractor uredospore layers as characteristic signs stripe (yellow) rust (caused by Puccinia striiformis Westend. f. sp. tritici) winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.). To simulate healthy diseased field parts, 3-yr experimental design included controlled infected plots those sprayed fungicides controls. Imaging, disease severity, development rating were performed along series. Significant differences between control occurred imagery using normalized green–red difference index from median (upper three leaves) infested leaf area 3% for images maximally stable extreme regions detector 3 5%, respectively. future, it conceivable that farmers will combine (aerial monitoring damage fields) (ground determine cause) automatic scanning status.

Monitoring Wheat Stripe Rust Using Remote Sensing Technologies in China
Many studies on remote sensing monitoring of plant diseases have been conducted. Remote sensing (RS) has played an important role in monitoring some kinds of plant diseases and making decisions for the management of the diseases. Progress on remote sensing monitoring of wheat stripe rust in China was summarized from four aspects including remote sensing monitoring stripe rust of single wheat le...
متن کاملIdentifying and Mapping Stripe Rust in Winter Wheat using Multi-temporal Airborne Hyperspectral Images
Plant disease incidence usually has a progress from light infection to severe prevalence. How to dynamically monitor this progress on a tempo-spatial scale has become a pressing issue for farmers and agricultural decision-making. In comparison with traditional field-point based detection and diagnosis, remote sensing techniques have provided cost effective tools for acquiring disease severities...
متن کاملGenetic analysis and molecular mapping of wheat genes conferring resistance to the wheat stripe rust and barley stripe rust pathogens.
ABSTRACT Stripe rust is one of the most important diseases of wheat and barley worldwide. On wheat it is caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici and on barley by P. striiformis f. sp. hordei Most wheat genotypes are resistant to P. striiformis f. sp. hordei and most barley genotypes are resistant to P. striiformis f. sp. tritici. To determine the genetics of resistance in wheat to P. stri...

A field experiment was conducted to determine the seasonal patterns of arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) in a dryland winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) system and to determine wheat growth and P uptake responses to inoculation with mycorrhizal fungus. Broadcast-incorporated treatments included (1) no inoculation with mycorrhizal fungus, with and without P fertilizer, and (2) mycorrhizal fungal inocu...
متن کاملMapping Stripe Rust Resistance in a BrundageXCoda Winter Wheat Recombinant Inbred Line Population
A recombinant inbred line (RIL) mapping population developed from a cross between winter wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) cultivars Coda and Brundage was evaluated for reaction to stripe rust (caused by Puccinia striiformis f. sp. tritici). Two hundred and sixty eight RIL from the population were evaluated in replicated field trials in a total of nine site-year locations in the U.S. Pacific Northwe...
